Egg w/ Stand

Stone eggs symbolize new beginnings, fertility and rebirth. Imported from Pakistan, these solid marble and onyx eggs come with a matching stand. Egg shaped stones are often used for reflexology, acupressure or for balancing energy.

Types include black zebra marble, fossil marble, rainbow onyx and red marble.

Onyx is a variety of chalcedony or microcrystalline quartz which is formed in the gas cavities of lava. Generally, most onyx has a parallel banding structure (as opposed to agate which is more irregular), however black onyx doesn't tend to have this characteristic banding. Onyx is used to strengthen self-discipline and increased self-confidence.

Marble is a rock resulting from metamorphism of sedimentary carbonate rocks, most commonly limestone or dolomite rock. Metamorphism causes variable recrystallization of the original carbonate mineral grains. The resulting marble rock is typically composed of an interlocking mosaic of carbonate crystals. In the metaphysical community some believe marble helps with serenity and meditation.
