Desert rose is white with light brown specks of sand that highlight its contours. It is composed of gypsum (selenite), a hydrated calcium sulphate which will disintegrate in water.

Like a lotus emerging from the mud, the desert rose is a wondrous find in the evaporative deposits of the desert. A beautiful gift for the forward thinker, It is a gentle grounding stone that clarifies thinking and mental vision.
